FSEC Energy Research Center®, also known as the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC®), is the state''s premier energy research center. Created by the Florida Legislature in 1975 to test and certify solar systems, FSEC® is administered by the University of Central Florida.

Facilities
Solar Thermal Test Laboratories The Solar Thermal Test Laboratories are used for indoor and outdoor performance testing of solar thermal systems and collectors. Manufactured Housing Laboratory The Manufactured Housing Laboratory is a 1600 sq. ft. ENERGY STAR® manufactured home which is used in sample testing for the manufactured housing industry.
